Welcome to you all — my name is Devin Trier, Creative Manager for ember. I am writing this from the hills of Tuftonboro, NH partaking in the annual team retreat located at Ember Escapes. After a wonderful night of food, laughter, and stories, we begin some team-building activities today to help strengthen not only ourselves but our team collectively.

I have been fortunate in my career to work with some truly talented people and be pushed forward creatively through strong partnerships. My development as a creative lead has been possible because of individuals who allowed me to dream, develop, and reach outside the normal routine and encouraged divergent approaches to what could be considered a standard approach. The more I develop in my career, the more I recognize the value of having those types of individuals within my professional circle as colleagues and a trusted support system.

As I begin my journey here with ember, I can speak with great confidence about the value our entire team places towards work, relationships with clients, and relationships between each other. Each person brings their unique style to the office, whether it be a skill, POV, managerial procedure, or different way of thinking about challenging problems. Our strength as a collective is foundationally built from these different traits, bolstered by a strong support system of communication, collaboration, leadership, and trust.
